Knight Anole

These anoles were introduced from Cuba. They have a large head and a yellow stripe on the sides of their neck. These anoles are usually seen high in the trees in where they eat insects, other lizards and even small birds. Captives will eat even eat mice. Knight anoles are becoming more common in South Florida, but are thought to be unable to survive the North Florida freezes.
